Can your computer run Windows 11?
Windows 11 has stricter hardware requirements than Windows 10. Your computer needs:
- A relatively recent processor (most pre-2018 CPUs aren't officially supported)
- TPM 2.0 (a security chip — most computers from 2016+ have it)
- Secure Boot enabled
- At least 4GB RAM (8GB+ recommended)
- At least 64GB storage

Our upgrade process
- Full backup first. Before we touch anything, your files are backed up. If anything goes wrong, you're protected.
- Compatibility check. We verify your hardware meets requirements and your important programs are Windows 11 compatible.
- Clean upgrade. We do the upgrade properly — not just clicking "next, next, next" — making sure drivers are updated, junk gets cleaned out, and everything works after.
- Settings tuned. Windows 11 has a bunch of new defaults (some of which most people don't like). We tune the experience so it feels familiar.
- Test everything before you leave. Internet, printer, email, your important programs — we verify it all works before you walk out.
What if my computer can't run Windows 11?
You have three real options:
- Pay for Microsoft Extended Security Updates. Microsoft offers a paid program to keep getting security updates on Windows 10 for now. We can help you set that up.
- Hardware upgrade. Sometimes adding RAM and an SSD plus a small motherboard tweak can make an older machine eligible. We'll tell you if that's realistic for your machine.
- Replacement. If the computer is 7+ years old, replacement is often the smart move. We can help you pick a new computer at a fair price (and skip the bloatware), then transfer everything over with our new computer setup service.
No hard sell: If your computer doesn't qualify for Windows 11 but still works fine for what you need, we'll tell you that too. We're not in the business of pushing upgrades nobody needs.
