Mac issues we handle
- Slow Mac. Storage full, runaway apps, login items eating memory, outdated macOS — usually fixable.
- macOS troubleshooting. Won't boot to login screen, kernel panics, stuck on Apple logo, login loops.
- Mac data recovery. Files gone, accidentally deleted, drive showing errors. We can often recover data even from Macs that won't boot.
- Migration to a new Mac. Move from one Mac to another, or from a PC to a Mac.
- Email setup. Apple Mail, Outlook for Mac, Gmail in browser — configured properly.
- Printer setup. Mac to printer connections (often trickier than Windows).
- Mac security. Yes, Macs can get malware. We clean infections and set up real protection.
- Storage upgrades. On older Macs that allow it (pre-2016 MacBook Pros, iMacs, Mac Minis), we can upgrade to a faster SSD.
- Time Machine backup setup. So you don't lose your stuff next time.
What we don't do
- Logic board repairs on newer (T2 / Apple Silicon) Macs that require Apple's tools and serialized parts
- Screen replacements on newer MacBooks that require Apple-authorized service
- Battery replacements that require Apple-only diagnostics
For these, you're better off at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. We'll tell you that honestly rather than charging you for work we can't complete properly.
