What we can teach
- Computer basics. Mouse, keyboard, files, folders, navigating Windows or Mac.
- Email. Sending, receiving, attachments, replying to all, organizing, spotting scams.
- Video calls. Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet, WhatsApp video — staying in touch with family and grandkids.
- Photos. Getting photos off your phone, organizing them, printing them, sharing with family.
- Online safety. Spotting scams, protecting your information, what to click and what NOT to click.
- Online shopping. How to shop safely, compare prices, and avoid fake websites.
- Banking and bill pay. Setting up online banking and using it confidently.
- Phones and tablets. iPhone, iPad, Android — using them with confidence.
- Specific programs. Microsoft Word, Excel, browser basics, whatever you actually need.
How it works
- One-on-one. Just you and us. No class to keep up with, no being embarrassed asking "basic" questions.
- Onsite or in-shop. Most people prefer learning at home on their own computer.
- At your pace. We go as slow as you want. We'll cover the same thing five times if it helps it stick.
- Plain English. No jargon, no "just click X" without explaining what X is.
- Practical focus. We teach what you'll actually use — not theoretical computer concepts.
Especially great for seniors
A lot of our training customers are 60+ folks who want to be able to email, video call grandkids, manage photos, and shop online safely without depending on family every time something comes up. We're patient, we don't rush, and we won't make you feel bad for asking the same question twice.
Avoid online "tech support" companies. Many target seniors with high-pressure sales and unnecessary services. We don't sell subscriptions you don't need. Just real, local help when you want it.
